CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!! In an effort to keep our community beautiful, we are looking for volunteers to help us on this clean up day. The City of Scottsdale will provide all volunteers with gloves, trash bags, safety vests and cold waters. We will not be in the road so all litter pick up will be on the property beyond the curb. We will meet in the GCA office at 8 a.m, go over some quick instruction, and then will start walking the trails along Hayden Road north of Thompson Peak Parkway. The walk will be approximately 1 mile each direction, a little over two miles in total after both sides of the road are cleaned. All volunteers 17 years of age and under must come with a guardian. This is a great way to complete community service hours for school. We are only able to accommodate the first 15 volunteers who register. All others will be encouraged to sign up for the next chosen date this winter.
