Arizona Helping Hands Partnership

Arizona Helping Hands is currently trying to collect 30,000 toys for the holidays in their 21st annual toy drive, and you can help! Visit their Amazon wish list or download a list of items here. Toys can be dropped off at the GCA Office during regular business hours (Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.) through December 20.

Arizona Helping Hands is the largest provider of essential needs for children in foster care in the state. Your support brings smiles to the faces of children in foster care and the foster families that care for them.

Holiday Guest List

If you live in the Retreat Village and plan to have holiday guests this year, please remember to add your guests to your ABDI account or drop off a complete guest list to the guardhouse. The guards will call on every guest that they have not been notified of prior to the party. If you are busy having fun and don’t hear your phone ring, your guest may be denied admittance, and that is no way to spread holiday cheer!

Chanukah Party

You are invited to enjoy a pre-Hanukkah celebration at the Aviano club house in Desert Ridge on Dec. 18 from 6-8 p.m. Enjoy latkes, a light meal from JJ’s Deli, sweets, music and activities for the kids. Cost to participate is $5 for kids 3 and up and $10 per adult. Every adult that brings a bottle of wine to share only pays $5! Register and pay by Dec. 11. Transponder Installation (RVA Only)

Installations this week will occur on Monday from 8-9 a.m., Tuesday from 2-3 p.m., Wednesday from 9-10 a.m., Thursday from 12-1 p.m. and Friday from 8-9 a.m. at the GCA office (7940 E Thompson Peak Pkwy #102).
