Letters to the Vi
April 1- April 30
Are you at home looking for something to do and would like to give your kids some writing practice? We are looking for pen pals! The residents of the Vi would love to receive pictures, letters, or drawings from you and your kids. Help them feel the love while staying indoors and out of harm’s way with words of encouragement and fun drawings.  We will be collecting the letters here at the GCA office during the whole month of April.  Please drop them in the drop slot on the left side of our door or mail them if you prefer.  The office address is: 7940 E. Thompson Peak Pkwy. Ste. 102, Scottsdale, AZ 85255.

Thirsty Thursday
Every Thursday, we will partner will a local restaurant to host Thirsty Thursday. A staff member from the featured restaurant will show us through a video how to make a specialty cocktail, and you'll even be able to pick up the ingredients at the restaurant curbside. This is a great way to brush up on your bartending skills and support a local business at the same time. Cheers!

Common Area Amenities

The GCA strongly suggests that residents do not use the play equipment and pool areas throughout the community during this current pandemic. If you do, please follow all social distancing guidelines provided by the CDC and ADHS, including no groups of 10 or more people. Take preemptive measures such as hand washing and hand sanitizing before and after visiting these amenities to help reduce the potential spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). Use common area amenities at your own risk.

Landscape Updates

DLC Resources pumped water out of the Deer Valley channel following a recent storm. They completed a sidewalk erosion and silt prevention project at the Avante pool area. DLC also started a project in the Natural Area Open Space (NAOS) along Scottsdale Rd. from Grayhawk Dr. to the Deer Valley wash. They will be creating 5' clearance along the wall.  This week, DLC will be working on routine maintenance including seasonal pruning, mowing and weed removal in common areas.
