The month of May we invite you to stay active, support Arizona Helping Hands and enjoy some wine! Cost to join is $10, with a portion going to Arizona Helping Hands.

Here’s how you join:

• Register for the Wine Run/Walk 5k we will email you the form.

• Complete a 5K (3.1 miles) run, walk, wine drinking reps, or exercise any time during the month of May, while observing proper social distancing of course!

• Send us your results on the online form (your confirmation email will include instructions)

• Post your pics on the Grayhawk Facebook page (optional)

• Celebrate your accomplishment with your commemorative Wine Run 5k glass

Virtual Paint and Sip

Landscape Updates

Last week, DLC Resources found a fallen saguaro at the Pinnacle entry area. The saguaro was not salvageable and had bees inside. Both the saguaro and bees were removed Friday. Tree issues were addressed, including trees that were growing over walls and dropping into residential pools. This week, crews will focus on siteline trimming along Hayden Rd. and Thompson Peak Pkwy. medians. Crews will also be starting Monterey NAOS fire mitigation and continuing fire mitigation and fence line clearing in the Deer Valley wash.

Loop 101 Closures

• Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) ramps at Hayden Road and Pima Road/Princess Drive scheduled to close in April and remain closed through June.

• North-and southbound Hayden Road at the Pima Freeway will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly beginning Monday, May 4, through the morning of Friday, May 8, and again from 9 p.m. Friday, May 8, until 5 a.m. Monday, May 11.

Transponder Installation (RVA Only)

Installations this week will occur on Monday from 8-9 a.m., Tuesday from 2-3 p.m., Wednesday from 9-10 a.m., Thursday from 12-1 p.m. and Friday from 8-9 a.m. at the GCA office (7940 E Thompson Peak Pkwy #102). For questions, please contact Cierra at 480-563-9708 or caustin@ccmcnet.com.

Transponders will be installed per the regular schedule, however, there will be modifications as no residents will be coming into the office. If you would like to have a transponder installed please follow the steps below:
1. Complete the online transponder installation form
2. Come to the office during the schedule time in the vehicle you are having the transponder installed on.
3. Park in front of the office and stay in your car
4. A staff member will come out to install your transponder
