Overseeding in Grayhawk

DLC Resources is preparing turf in the community for rye grass seeding by reducing irrigation and lowering mow heights. The turf will eventually be scalped to 1” – 1½” height, at which point the canopy will be gone and only stubble will remain. DLC is scheduled to begin seeding around October 1, weather permitting. Some areas of the community are not being overseeded to allow stronger Bermuda growth in the spring. The map showing areas not being overseeded each year can be found here.

GCA and RVA Board Meetings

New Resident Orientation

Aioli Gourmet Burger Food Truck

Take a night off this month and pick up dinner from the Aioli Gourmet Burger Food Truck on Sept. 24 from 5-7 p.m. at the greenbelt near 78th Way and 78th Pl. Free Shredding Event

Head to 7940 E. Thompson Peak Pkwy. on Sept. 26 from 9-11 a.m. to get rid of unneeded paperwork in a safe and secure way with Shred-it Document Destruction Services. This will be a drive up, unload and take off service. Please register if you plan to attend. This is FREE for Grayhawk residents.

Grayhawk Covid-19 Update

The Grayhawk Office will remain closed to regular traffic until further notice. Staff will also continue to work a modified schedule to include working from home. The office will be open by appointment only. This means that if you plan to visit the office you must first call 480-563-9708 or email a staff member to schedule an appointment. Residents are required to wear a face mask for appointments.

In addition, the GCA Office will be closed to all activities including Bridge, Mah Jongg, Canasta, board meeting and rentals until further notice. The Board of Directors will continue to work with management to monitor the situation and update as necessary.

Transponder Installation (RVA Only)

Installations this week will occur on Monday from 8-9 a.m., Tuesday from 2-3 p.m., Wednesday from 9-10 a.m., Thursday from 12-1 p.m. and Friday from 8-9 a.m. at the GCA office (7940 E Thompson Peak Pkwy #102). For questions, please contact Cierra at 480-563-9708 or caustin@ccmcnet.com.

Transponders will be installed per the regular schedule, however, there will be modifications as no residents will be coming into the office. If you would like to have a transponder installed please follow the steps below:
1. Complete the online transponder installation form
2. Come to the office during the schedule time in the vehicle you are having the transponder installed on
3. Park in front of the office and stay in your car
4. A staff member will come out to install your transponder

We are no longer accepting cash for transponders. Please bring a check or credit card with you when you have a transponder installed.
