Kindermusik Classes

Kindermusik is the world’s leading provider of music-based education for children from birth through age seven. The Musik Box is currently partnering with AZ Musicfest and Grayhawk to bring classes to the residents of Grayhawk. They will be hosting “demo-days” classes at no charge during the month of March. Classes are 45 minutes long and will be held in the AZ Musicfest community room in the Offices at Grayhawk. Virtual sessions are also offered on Sundays upon request.

9 a.m. - Level 1 (1 year olds)
10 a.m. - Level 2 (2 year olds)
11 a.m. - Level 3 (3-5 year olds, plus mixed ages for siblings)
12 p.m. - Foundations (0-15 months)

floo-id YOGA in the Park

Join us to relieve stress and enjoy the outdoors as floo-id YOGA hosts Yoga in the Park every Saturday in March at 9 a.m. at the greenbelt near the GCA Office at 7940 E. Thompson Peak Pkwy. No experience is necessary. Just bring your mat and a can-do attitude! Make sure to register today! The March 13 class is FREE to Grayhawk residents, but you must register here.

Irish Soda Bread Cooking Class

Join celebrity chefs with Hungry via Zoom on March 19 at 5 p.m. as they show us in real time how to cook a traditional Irish Soda Bread for St. Patrick’s Day. The Hungry chefs are engaging, entertaining and make cooking fun! A zoom link, shopping list, and recipe will be emailed prior to the class. Register by March 16 to reserve your spot!

Grayhawk Shredding Event

Join us on March 20 from 9-11 a.m. at the Offices at Grayhawk for a FREE shredding event with Shred-it Document Destruction Services. Each registered vehicle will be allowed up to two bankers box sized boxes. This is a free service for residents, but we are asking for donations of baby wipes and Pull-Ups (any size) to our non-profit partner, Arizona Helping Hands. Grab some boxes, finish your spring cleaning and join us for the annual spring Community Garage Sale on March 27. Park residents will be marked on a printed sale map and on Google maps for $5, and Retreat Village/Condo residents can rent a table and space at the Grayhawk Community Association parking lot for $10 for your first table. Every table after that will be $7. Register by March 24 to save your spot. We WILL NOT be accepting additions to the sale past this date. If you are planning to shop make sure to get out there early, the big items go fast! This event is sponsored by Cashman Partners- Russ Lyon Sotheby’s group.

Graduation Signage

The Board of Directors was lenient in 2020 due to the pandemic in allowing celebratory graduation signs, as signage is prohibited in our documents. We are trying to enforce the policies as we have an obligation to the association as well as the residents, but we also want you to be able to celebrate your children's accomplishments. In 2021, the GCA has agreed that graduation signs can be placed in front yards and windows May 1-June 30.

Retreat Village Association Email

Retreat Village Association (RVA) residents can now opt in to email or text distribution lists specific to the RVA. This is a great way to stay up to date on the upcoming guardhouse remodel and other important RVA news. Follow the steps below to sign up today! Questions? Transponder Installation (RVA Only)

Installations this week will occur on Monday from 8-9 a.m., Tuesday from 2-3 p.m., Wednesday from 9-10 a.m., Thursday from 12-1 p.m. and Friday from 8-9 a.m. at the GCA office (7940 E Thompson Peak Pkwy #102). For questions, please contact Cierra at 480-563-9708 or caustin@ccmcnet.com.

Transponders will be installed per the regular schedule, however, there will be modifications as no residents will be coming into the office. If you would like to have a transponder installed please follow the steps below:
1. Complete the online transponder installation form
2. Come to the office during the schedule time in the vehicle you are having the transponder installed on
3. Park in front of the office and stay in your car
4. A staff member will come out to install your transponder

We are no longer accepting cash for transponders. Please bring a check or credit card with you when you have a transponder installed.
