Jindo Bingo

Join us via Zoom at 7 p.m. on March 16 for bingo with a BEAT. It is a family-friendly game of music, skill and luck that combines name-that-tune with Bingo. Challenge your friends, family and colleagues to a virtual game and test your luck and music knowledge. Jindo is free for you, easy to play, fun for everyone, and is played virtually. Irish Soda Bread Cooking Class

Join celebrity chefs with Hungry via Zoom on March 19 at 5 p.m. as they show us in real time how to cook a traditional Irish Soda Bread for St. Patrick’s Day. The Hungry chefs are engaging, entertaining and make cooking fun! A zoom link, shopping list, and recipe will be emailed prior to the class. Register by March 16 to reserve your spot!

GCA and RVA Annual Meetings

Join your fellow Grayhawk homeowners at 6 p.m. on March 23 for a night of celebrating the amazing community that you live in. Look back on the past year and, more importantly, look forward to what’s in store in the future. We will have plenty of of door prizes to give away, but you must register to qualify to win. Grayhawk Shredding Event

Join us on March 20 from 9-11 a.m. at the Offices at Grayhawk for a FREE shredding event with Shred-it Document Destruction Services. Each registered vehicle will be allowed up to two bankers box sized boxes. This is a free service for residents, but we are asking for donations of baby wipes and Pull-Ups (any size) to our non-profit partner, Arizona Helping Hands. Join us for our first Easter Scavenger Hunt. Here’s how it will work:

Pick up your bunny box of goodies, including clues to lead you to eight different eggs stationed around the community, on March 25 from 3-5 p.m. at the GCA Office. The Easter Bunny will even be here to help hand out your bunny boxes! Boxes will also include treats, an Easter craft and fun-filled plastic eggs. Register for $3 per person/box today.

The Scavenger Hunt begins Friday, March 26 and ends Monday, April 5

Paritipcate by finding all eight eggs hidden throughout the community. Finish the card included in your bunny box and email it to Sarah at svanduyne@ccmcnet.com. Follow instructions for extra entries. One lucky winner will be drawn to receive a basket of Easter goodies and a $150 Amazon gift card!

Grab some boxes, finish your spring cleaning and join us for the annual spring Community Garage Sale on March 27. Park residents will be marked on a printed sale map and on Google maps for $5, and Retreat Village/Condo residents can rent a table and space at the Grayhawk Community Association parking lot for $10 for your first table. Every table after that will be $7. Register by March 24 to save your spot. We WILL NOT be accepting additions to the sale past this date. Graduation Signage

The Board of Directors was lenient in 2020 due to the pandemic in allowing celebratory graduation signs, as signage is prohibited in our documents. We are trying to enforce the policies as we have an obligation to the association as well as the residents, but we also want you to be able to celebrate your children's accomplishments. In 2021, the GCA has agreed that graduation signs can be placed in front yards and windows May 1-June 30.

Retreat Gate Access

The guardhouses at both the Raptor and Talon Retreat will be undergoing a major remodel soon.

The entry process will run much smoother for residents and their guests during the remodel if residents utilize the ABDI Gate Access website or app for updating their guest list. If you live in the Retreat Village, please take a moment to log on to gateacess.net (or download the ABDI Gate Access app on your mobile device) and update your contact and guest information.

Transponder Installation (RVA Only)

Installations this week will occur on Monday from 8-9 a.m., Tuesday from 2-3 p.m., Wednesday from 9-10 a.m., Thursday from 12-1 p.m. and Friday from 8-9 a.m. at the GCA office (7940 E Thompson Peak Pkwy #102). For questions, please contact Cierra at 480-563-9708 or caustin@ccmcnet.com.

Transponders will be installed per the regular schedule, however, there will be modifications as no residents will be coming into the office. If you would like to have a transponder installed please follow the steps below:
1. Complete the online transponder installation form
2. Come to the office during the schedule time in the vehicle you are having the transponder installed on
3. Park in front of the office and stay in your car
4. A staff member will come out to install your transponder

We are no longer accepting cash for transponders. Please bring a check or credit card with you when you have a transponder installed.
