Prior to the regular session board meeting, the Board of Directors will hold and Executive Session pursuant to A.R.S. Section 33-1804(A)(3).

Planning a Home Project?

Homeowners must receive Architectural Review Committee (ARC) approval before beginning exterior modification projects outlined in the Design Guidelines (PDF). Common modifications include exterior paint and light fixtures, windows, roofs and front yard landscaping. If you are unsure if you need to submit, just ask!

The Architectural Review Committee meets on the first and third Tuesday of every month to review modification submittals. Applications are due at noon the Friday prior to the meeting and must be complete to be reviewed.

If you live in the Retreat Village, please take a moment to log on to gateacess.net and update your contact and guest information. Making sure that guests are on your list and we have the best phone number for you also ensures that entry lines move quickly for guests as they attempt to enter the property. How much do you know about the state you live in? Pop over to Facebook every Tuesday in June to test your Arizona knowledge and you could win an exciting gift card from a local business like Dutch Bros, The Craftsman, Harkins or Buttacakes! One winner will be drawn at random from all of the correct answers each Friday morning.

Win Dinner for Dad

Have your kid submit a poem or essay about why their father figure is the BEST and they could win a gift basket including a $100 gift card to The Craftsman. Two winners will be selected from each age group (12 and under and 13-17). Submissions must be written by the contestant and must be 300 words or less. Winning submissions will be featured in the August Grayhawk Flight magazine and will take home a wonderful gift basket for Dad! Submit entries by June 15 to svanduyne@ccmcnet.com. Winners will be announced June 17.

Virtual Bingo

Join us from 6-7 p.m. on June 16 to play an interactive game of Bingo from the comfort of your own home via Zoom. You'll have the chance to win prizes like $100, $50, $25 Amazon gift cards! Register by the end of the day on Fri., June 11. There will be 5 games total and will last approximately an hour depending on how fast the Bingos happen.

Babysitting Safety Class

Youth ages 10-17 are invited to join us on June 19 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Aviano Clubhouse to learn infant/child safety and basic care techniques. Topics include pediatric CPR, first aid and basic child safety. Two-year certification cards are issued upon successful completion of the course. Cost is $50 (in exact cash please) and includes a pizza lunch, Red Cross Babysitters Certificate, take home workbook, backpack, t-shirt and other goodies. Register by Thursday, June 17.

Donuts for Dad

Join us on June 20 at 8 a.m. in the Grayhawk Community Association Office parking lot for free donuts to share with dad this Father's Day! Simply pull up, collect your treats and take them home to surprise dad. Or bring him along for a fun outing! Donuts are available only while supplies last. If the signs are gone and doors are closed, we are all out!

Night at the Movies

Join us at Harkins 101 at 5:30 p.m. on June 29 for a FREE private showing of Spirit Untamed thanks to Kathy Craig, Skin Care Consultant with Rodan + Fields, and Kelley Carter, Realtor with KELLEYSFINEHOMES @ My Home Group. Attendees are responsible for your own concession purchases. This new DreamWorks animated film is rated PG. Space is limited. Register today!

Transponder Installation (RVA Only)

Installations this week will occur on Monday from 8-9 a.m., Tuesday from 2-3 p.m., Wednesday from 9-10 a.m., Thursday from 12-1 p.m. and Friday from 8-9 a.m. at the GCA office (7940 E Thompson Peak Pkwy #102). For questions, please contact Cierra at 480-563-9708 or caustin@ccmcnet.com.

Transponders will be installed per the regular schedule, however, there will be modifications as no residents will be coming into the office. If you would like to have a transponder installed please follow the steps below:
1. Complete the online transponder installation form
2. Come to the office during the schedule time in the vehicle you are having the transponder installed on
3. Park in front of the office and stay in your car
4. A staff member will come out to install your transponder

We are no longer accepting cash for transponders. Please bring a check or credit card with you when you have a transponder installed.
