Thompson Peak Pkwy. Paving

As part of Scottsdale's annual paving maintenance program, the City will be improving Thompson Peak Pkwy. from Scottsdale Rd. to Hayden Rd. The project includes removing or "milling" the old pavement and then resurfacing or "overlaying" the road with pavement.

The project is expected to be completed by June 21. Work will be completed between 5 a.m. and 5 p.m. and streets will typically be reduced to one lane in both directions during work hours.

Babysitting Safety Class

Youth ages 10-17 are invited to join us on June 19 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Aviano Clubhouse to learn infant/child safety and basic care techniques. Topics include pediatric CPR, first aid and basic child safety. Two-year certification cards are issued upon successful completion of the course. Cost is $50 (in exact cash please) and includes a pizza lunch, Red Cross Babysitters Certificate, take home workbook, backpack, t-shirt and other goodies. Register by Thursday, June 17.

Donuts for Dad

Join us on June 20 at 8 a.m. in the Grayhawk Community Association Office parking lot for free donuts to share with dad this Father's Day! Simply pull up, collect your treats and take them home to surprise dad. Or bring him along for a fun outing! Donuts are available only while supplies last. If the signs are gone and doors are closed, we are all out!

Sweet Magnolia and Kona Ice

Leave the cooking to the professionals and pick up Mississippi style BBQ from Sweet Magnolia Smokehouse on June 24 from 5-7:30 p.m. Then, cool down with Kona Ice to top off your meal. There will be no parking on the street. Please park in the offices at Grayhawk parking lot located at 7940 E. Thompson Peak Pkwy. and take the sidewalk to the greenbelt. Check out the Sweet Magnolia Smokehouse menu ahead of time.

Transponder Installation (RVA Only)

Installations this week will occur on Monday from 8-9 a.m., Tuesday from 2-3 p.m., Wednesday from 9-10 a.m., Thursday from 12-1 p.m. and Friday from 8-9 a.m. at the GCA office (7940 E Thompson Peak Pkwy #102). For questions, please contact Cierra at 480-563-9708 or caustin@ccmcnet.com.

If you would like to have a transponder installed, please follow the steps below:
1. Complete the online transponder installation form
2. Come to the office during one of the schedule times in the vehicle you are having the transponder installed on
3. Park in front of the office and stay in your car
4. A staff member will come out to install your transponder

We are no longer accepting cash for transponders. Please bring a check or credit card with you when you have a transponder installed.
