Throw on a costume and join us to enjoy a Pumpkin Patch with to-go craft kits, Deb's Dragons, axe throwing, spin art, balloon twisting, and so much more! We will have a food truck serving up delicious hot dogs,chips and cold refreshments. Cost is $10 per child and parents who want to eat can pay $5 during registration for a food ticket. Online Payments

On October 8, Union Bank is merging with Pacific Western Bank. You will not be able to make an online payment Oct. 8-Oct. 11. Pacific Western Bank anticipates being back up and fully operational starting Oct. 12 at 5 a.m.

Please note this does not affect any payments made by direct debit or mail. You can also bring your check to the GCA Office at 7940 E. Thompson Peak Pkwy., Ste. 102.

City of Scottsdale Bulk Trash

City of Scottsdale bulk trash crews are still working in area 2 as of this morning. They were scheduled to pick up in area 4 (including Grayhawk) last week. Please be patient as they work to catch up and return to their regular schedule.

As a reminder, your brush and bulk items should be placed three feet apart parallel to the street on your property line. Please do not block the street or sidewalk with bulk and brush. For more information on bulk trash, including what is considered bulk trash and how to prepare for pickup, visit the City of Scottsdale website.

Where to Report Mosquitos

If you notice excessive mosquitos, please report it to Maricopa County Environmental Services

Maricopa County Environmental Services conducts year-round surveillance and abatement of mosquitoes. Their Vector Control Division deploys routine mosquito traps every week and additional complaint driven traps to collect mosquitoes. You can view trap locations on the Mosquito Management Map.

Culex mosquitoes are tested for West Nile and St. Louis encephalitis viruses and Aedes aegypti mosquitoes are tested for Chikungunya, Dengue, and Zika viruses. The Vector Control Division also investigates feral bees, fly, and roof rat complaints.

New Trash/Recycle Collection Days

City of Scottsdale trash and recycling collection days will be changing beginning Nov. 1.

Grayhawk recycle (pink cans) will be picked on Tuesday and trash (black cans) will be picked up on Thursday.

Volare Pool

The Volare pool is currently not being heated due to an issue with a heater component. The pool maintenance company is waiting for a part to be delivered in order to complete the repair. Signage has been placed on the gate to the pool and will be removed once the heater is operational and the pool is heated back to normal temperature.

Transponder Installation (RVA Only)

Installations this week will occur on Monday from 8-9 a.m., Tuesday from 2-3 p.m., Wednesday from 9-10 a.m., Thursday from 12-1 p.m. and Friday from 8-9 a.m. at the GCA office (7940 E Thompson Peak Pkwy #102). For questions, please contact Cierra at 480-563-9708 or caustin@ccmcnet.com.

If you would like to have a transponder installed, please follow the steps below:
1. Complete the online transponder installation form
2. Come to the office during one of the schedule times in the vehicle you are having the transponder installed on
3. Park in front of the office and stay in your car
4. A staff member will come out to install your transponder

We are no longer accepting cash for transponders. Please bring a check or credit card with you when you have a transponder installed.
