Guardhouse Project
As you may have noticed, the Guardhouse Project is underway! The following is expected to take place the week of June 6:
- The Raptor guardhouse will have new paving installed for the relocated turnaround.
- Necessary construction items including portable toilets, handwashing stations and dumpsters, will be placed on site.
- Clearing operations are expected to move to the Talon guardhouse. This will include removing asphalt in the guest exit lane closest to the guardhouse, as well as landscaping and small walls behind the guardhouse near current staff parking.
- Construction fencing with screening fabric will start to go up around the job site.
- The jobsite office will be constructed and become operational.
In upcoming weeks residents should expect to see underground work including trenching for plumbing, data, and electrical. It is also anticipated that new building foundations will be laid out by the end of the month.
