Free Family Movie

Join neighbors at Harkins 101 on June 17 at 11 a.m. for a FREE private showing of Disney and Pixar’s Elemental. Grayhawk will cover your tickets, just bring money for your favorite drinks and snacks. Space is limited. Register by no later than June 9 to save your seats!  

Lou Malnati's Pizza By Me Class

Head to Lou Malnati's on June 20 at 5:30 p.m. to learn the art of deep dish. After watching your own pizza creation go into the oven, you'll enjoy salad, appetizers and bottomless house beer, wine and soft drinks, followed by a chocolate chip cookie pizza desert. Cost is $70 per person paid the night of the event. Register by June 12. 

Ladies Bunco Night

Join neighbors in the Raptor Room at 6 p.m. on June 27 for a night of food, drinks and Bunco! Never played before? Don’t worry! We’ll do a quick lesson before we get started. Just register online and drop $5 exact cash to the office by 5 p.m. on June 16.  Then bring a bottle of wine or an appetizer to share the night of the event. 

AZ Helping Hands Volunteer Day

Volunteers ages eight and older are invited to join us to volunteer at Arizona Helping Hands on June 28 from 1-3 p.m. Meet at the GCA Office at 12:15 to carpool/caravan to the AZHH warehouse at 3110 E. Thunderbird Rd. Volunteers will be sorting new items in the warehouse and will shop the warehouse for Birthday Dreams Bag items. Spots are limited. Register if you plan to participate! Halcon Pool Closure

Beginning June 5, the Halcon pool and spa will be closed for maintenance. This project includes remodeling the restrooms and replacing all tile throughout the ramada area. It is anticipated that this much needed refresh will be completed and the pool will re-open on Friday, June 30. An alternate pool area will be provided for use during this time, if requested. Please contact the GCA office at 480-563-9708 for information.

Transponder Installation 

Installations for this week will occur on Monday from 8-9 a.m., Tuesday from 2-3 p.m., Wednesday from 9-10 a.m., Thursday from 12-1 p.m. and Friday from 8-9 a.m. at the GCA office (7940 E Thompson Peak Pkwy #102).  For questions, please contact Nian at 480-563-9708 or nquinn@ccmcnet.com.  Please bring a check or credit card with you when you have a transponder installed.
