Arizona Helping Hands Donations

Nov. 1 through Dec. 15
Help us to collect new, non-holiday patterned pajamas and books for Arizona Helping Hands this holiday season. You can donate hardcover books for infants to toddlers or teenage reading genres. Pajamas are needed for all sizes, but especially teens that are size L or XL.

Items can be dropped off at the GCA Office Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or residents can purchase off of the Amazon Wish List and have items delivered directly to the office. To show our gratitude, all adult residents who contribute to the donation drive will receive a special drink ticket to be used at any of the fourth quarter events, including the Welcome Back Snowbirds mixer, Holly-Jolly Happy Hour or the Breakfast with Santa. It’s our way of saying “cheers” for your kindness and community spirit.

Golf Course Reminder

The Grayhawk Golf Club has asked that you please remind your children that they are not permitted on golf course property. There have been multiple incidents recently of youth riding motorized vehicles on their property, both day and night, which poses a safety hazard for them and others. Thank you for your cooperation

DMB Open House

DMB will be hosting an Open House on Wednesday, Nov. 15 from 5:30 to 6: 30 p.m. in the Talon room of the GCA Office. The purpose of the open house is to allow residents to preview and offer input on DMB’s revision to their proposed development north of the Illume Building (former Dial Building). The proposal includes reducing commercial intensity, adding sustainability and conservation features, and creating greater pedestrian connectivity throughout the project to surrounding neighborhoods.

Transponder Installation

Installations for this week will occur on Monday from 8-9 a.m., Tuesday from 2-3 p.m., Wednesday from 9-10 a.m., Thursday from 12-1 p.m. and Friday from 8-9 a.m. at the GCA office (7940 E Thompson Peak Pkwy #102).
