Arizona Helping Hands Donations

Nov. 1 through Dec. 15 
Help us to collect new, non-holiday patterned pajamas and books for Arizona Helping Hands this holiday season. You can donate hardcover books for infants to toddlers or teenage reading genres. Pajamas are needed for all sizes, but especially teens that are size L or XL.

Items can be dropped off at the GCA Office Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or residents can purchase off of the Amazon Wish List and have items delivered directly to the office. To show our gratitude, all adult residents who contribute to the donation drive will receive a special drink ticket to be used at any of the fourth quarter events, including the Welcome Back Snowbirds mixer, Holly-Jolly Happy Hour or the Breakfast with Santa. It’s our way of saying “cheers” for your kindness and community spirit. 

Shredding Event

Stop by the Offices at Grayhawk parking lot on Nov. 18 from 9-11 a.m. for a shredding event. Each vehicle is allowed up to two banker sized boxes and documents will be shredded on site. Registration is required and spots are filling up fast! This is a free event but we are accepting donations for Arizona Helping Hands including books and new, non-holiday pajamas ( both infant through teen). 

Holly Jolly Mixer

Join your neighbors for a festive evening of holiday cheer on Dec. 2 from 6-8 p.m. at Federal Grill. Cost is $35 per person and includes light appetizers and one drink. A cash bar will be available. Space is limited. Register by no later than Nov. 27.

Santa Party

Join us at the Hilton Cavasson on Dec. 3 from 4-6 p.m. for a magical evening with Santa, holiday crafts and more! Cost is $15 for adults and $12 for children ages 5 and up. Breakfast will be served and a cash bar will be available. Space is limited. Register by Nov. 27. Parents should drop off a wrapped gift at the GCA office for Santa to give your child by no later than Nov. 27. Clearly mark your child's complete name and age on the gift. 

Hanukkah Party

Join neighbors on Dec. 13 from 6-8 p.m. in the Talon Room for festivities complete with light food, lively conversations, crafts for the kids and a heartwarming community blessing. Cost is $5 per person. Register by no later than Dec. 9.

Transponder Installation

Installations for this week will occur on Monday from 8-9 a.m., Wednesday from 9-10 a.m., Thursday from 12-1 p.m. and Friday from 8-9 a.m. at the GCA office (7940 E Thompson Peak Pkwy #102).
