AZ Helping Hands Volunteer Day

Meet fellow volunteers on Thursday, Feb. 1 from 2-4 p.m.at the Arizona Helping Hands warehouse to “shop” and fill Birthday Dream bags for Arizona youth in foster care. Space is limited. Register by Jan. 29.

Join us in the Talon Room at 6 p.m. on Feb. 8 to make your own chocolates and enjoy a fun night in the company of neighbors. Cost is $35 per person and includes recipes, ingredients and a box for your creations. Bring your favorite beverage and we’ll provide snacks. Space is limited. Register by Feb. 2.

Daddy Daughter Dance

Grab your favorite young lady and join us on Feb. 17 from 5-7 p.m. to party like BARBIE with dancing, food, prizes and more. Cost is $30 per couple and $10 for each additional guest. Raffle tickets will be sold at the event (cash only). Register by Feb. 12.  No day of walkups or registrations after Feb. 12 will be accepted.

Bicycle Repair Pop Up

Curbside Bicycles Pop-Up

The City of Scottsdale Police Department recently shared information about a crime trend they are seeing in Scottsdale. You can read the news release or watch a video to learn more.  Remember to keep your doors and windows locked, alarms and cameras on and to call the non-emergency number at 480-312-5000 if you see anything suspicious.

Installations for this week will occur on Monday from 8-9 a.m., Tuesday from 2-3 p.m., Wednesday from 9-10 a.m., Thursday from 12-1 p.m. and Friday from 8-9 a.m. at the GCA office (7940 E Thompson Peak Pkwy #102).
