Back-to-School Drive for The Foster Alliance

Hey, Grayhawk neighbors! It's time to help our friends at The Foster Alliance collect items to help Arizona youth in foster care have a great experience going back to the classroom. Any of the items listed below can be dropped off at the GCA Office from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday. You can also shop our Amazon Wishlist and have items mailed directly to the office! Foster Alliance Volunteer Day

Meet fellow volunteers on Wednesday, July 9 from 1-3 p.m.at the Foster Alliance warehouse to “shop”, decorate and fill Birthday Dream bags for Arizona youth in foster care. Space is limited. Register by July 7.

Happy Hour

Join fellow residents at Pitch at Cavasson on July 17 from 4:30-6 p.m. to beat the heat and enjoy happy hour with neighbors. One drink ticket is included thanks to Bankers Trust. This is a great way to meet your neighbors! Space is limited. Register by no later than July 15.

GCA Office Hours

The GCA Office will be closing at 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 3 and will be closed on Friday, July 4 in observance of the Independence Day holiday. The office will reopen on Monday, July 7 at 8 a.m. We hope you enjoy a safe and happy 4th of July!

The Valley is hosting many 4th of July celebrations! However, if you plan to have your own firework display, please keep in mind that the Grayhawk community follows the City of Scottsdale's ordinance in regard to firework safety. In addition, fireworks are not permitted in common areas.

City of Scottsdale Bulk Pickup instructions

As a reminder, Grayhawk has been moved to area 2 for City of Scottsdale Brush and Bulk collection in 2025. The next pickup will take place in Grayhawk the week of July 7 and items must be placed out by no later than 5 a.m. on July 7 for collection. Parking Reminder

Please remember that per Arizona law, cars are required to park with, not against, traffic. Please see below for verbiage and remind guests and vendors of this policy as well.

ARS 28-874. Additional parking rules A. Except as otherwise provided in this section, a person who stops or parks a vehicle on a roadway where there are adjacent curbs shall stop or park the vehicle with its right-hand wheels parallel to and within eighteen inches of the right-hand curb.

Transponder Installation

Installations for this week will occur on Monday from 8-9 a.m., Tuesday from 2-3 p.m., Wednesday from 9-10 a.m., and Thursday from 12-1 p.m. at the GCA office (7940 E Thompson Peak Pkwy #102).
