Baby Dream Kit Drive

We are proud to be partnering with Arizona Helping Hands, the largest provider of essential needs for children in foster care in Arizona, to help make life better for Arizona families. Through February 20 we will be collecting basic child/baby care items at the GCA office. Donated items will go directly to a foster child in need. Some items needed include but are not limited to tearless shampoo/bodywash, diaper rash treatment, baby lotion, soft brush and combs, baby washcloths, hand sanitizer, teething toys, and insulated zip up lunch bags. At this time we cannot accept used items. Our office is located at 7940 E. Grayhawk Board Call for Candidates

The Grayhawk Annual Meeting is being held on Tuesday, March 19 and you have until 5 p.m. on January 25 to submit your application for either the Grayhawk Master or Retreat Village Association Board of Directors. Airplane Noise Complaints

The increase in Scottsdale airport traffic due to events like the Barrett Jackson and Waste Management Open always brings an increase in air traffic noise complaints. If you would like to register a noise complaint, you can do so by calling the Scottsdale Airport Noise Complaint Hotline at 480-312-FLYS (3597) or register a complaint online at https://www.scottsdaleaz.gov/airport/noise-complaint.

Hiking Club

Join the Hiking Club for a moderate hike in the northeast Brown’s Ranch Area on January 26 at 8 a.m. This 8-9 mile hike is ideal for intermediate hikers. Click here to learn more about the hike and RSVP. To participate, you must have joined the club online and RSVP’d “YES” to this event. On the website, you can review many other upcoming hikes and email the organizers with questions.

Floo-id YOGA in the Park

We are teaming up with Floo-id YOGA to host Yoga in the Park every fourth Sunday from January 27-April 28 at 4 p.m. Floo-id YOGA is a locally owned yoga studio offering a variety of classes to accommodate all ages and skill levels, and they're doing these classes at no cost just for Grayhawk residents. Just bring your mat and a can-do attitude. Join us at the greenbelt near the office at 7940 E. Thompson Peak Parkway. RSVP here today.

Meditation with Joey Bellus

Join us in the Raptor Room Mondays from January 28-March 4 at 6:30 p.m. for a meditation class. This is a more intensive learning opportunity for those who would like to take meditation to the next level and want to learn to do it on their own. Cost is $350 for the series and includes a journal and meditation kit to use at home. Click here to register by January 23.

Tubac Bus Trip

Join neighbors on February 6 to spend the day visiting hundreds of artists, crafters and musicians from around the country at the popular Tubac Festival of the Arts. The bus will depart from the Thompson Peak Park parking lot at 8 a.m. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure. Cost is $24 per person and includes water, snack and roundtrip transportation. Installations this week will occur on Monday from 8-9 a.m., Tuesday from 2-3 p.m., Wednesday from 9-10 a.m., Thursday from 12-1 p.m. and Friday from 8-9 a.m. at the GCA office (7940 E Thompson Peak Pkwy #102).
