Construction Update

Upcoming Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) Improvement Project road closures impacting Grayhawk include:
  • The eastbound Pima Freeway will be closed between Scottsdale and Hayden roads from 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, through 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26.The eastbound on-ramp at 64th Street also will be closed.
  • North- and southbound Scottsdale Road will be closed nightly at the Pima Freeway from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, Aug. 26, through the morning of Friday, Aug. 30.
  • The travel lanes on the Pima Freeway between Scottsdale and Hayden roads will be shifted around a new work zone that is being established in the freeway median. The westbound travel lanes will be shifted between Scottsdale and Hayden roads by 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19, and the eastbound travel lanes will be shifted by 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26. The traffic shift is needed to construct a new bridge that will travel over the city of Scottsdale’s future Miller Road extension.  The traffic shift will be in place for approximately one year while the new bridge is being built.  ADOT will maintain the same number of travel lanes during the traffic shift.
Visit the traffic alerts website for more information on restrictions and closures in the area.
